Our Story

Why We Built This Firm.

SGH Business Solutions was founded on a single observation small and mid-size employers were being left out of the financial strategies that larger companies used to reduce costs and increase competitiveness. Enterprise-level solutions existed, but no one was packaging them accessibly for the business owner running a 20-person restaurant or a 40-person construction crew. We built this firm to close that gap.

We believe employers shouldn't have to choose between protecting their margins and taking care of their people. The strategies we implement led by our flagship payroll tax reduction program are designed to do both simultaneously. No disruption. No new health plan. No broker change. Just better financial outcomes for the business and the workforce.

Donald Gee

Founder & Principal

Donald Gee is the Managing Partner of The Gee Law Firm in Richmond, with over 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer, business owner, and chief administrator. Having spent decades juggling multiple hats while building and managing successful businesses, he understands firsthand the operational and financial challenges employers face. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Howard University School of Law, Donald brings the same results-driven discipline to SGH Business Solutions, where he leads the firm's mission to deliver enterprise-grade financial strategy to small and mid-size employers. 

Eric Sutton

Founder & Principal

Eric Sutton spent 20 years as a firefighter before building a three-decade career in sales, marketing, and business development. As former Executive Director of the Independence Fund Hyperbaric and Wellness Center, he directed care for veterans living with TBI and PTSD. Today he brings that same commitment to SGH clients, helping hundreds of businesses reduce costs, improve retention, and build stronger workforces without disrupting what's already working.

Is this program legal?

Yes. It operates entirely within IRS guidelines. Every implementation is structured legally and transparently. There are no loopholes involved.

Will the EESS require changes to our existing health plan or benefits broker?

No. This program integrates alongside your existing setup without modification. Your broker relationship stays intact, your health plan stays the same and your employees notice nothing different except a larger paycheck.

How long does the implementation take?

Most businesses are up and running within a single payroll cycle. SGH handles the full implementation your team is not required to do anything differently.

What size business qualifies?

Any employer with 5 or more W-2 employees who is currently paying payroll taxes qualifies to have a consultation. Final eligibility is confirmed during that conversation.

What does this cost to implement?
